1. ICA 정량 플랫폼 개발

The ICA in vitro diagnostic product has the advantages available for the site examination and examination by the less killed non-professional owing to its visual decision compared to the quantitative analysis product using the automated devices and disadvantageous of less objective in decision because the quantitative analysis is impossible and the examination is made by visual checking.

The quantization methods are studied to overcome such disadvantages and the rapid quantization diagnostic agents are launched in the market. Such the rapid quantization diagnostic agents are spotlighted in the market and the products become popular in the developed countries such as Europe and North America.

In line with such trends, we research and develop ICA quantization diagnostic platform to take it as the next generation growth engine.

For this matter, the various studies are performed not only on the fluorescent based quantization platform which is sold in the market and rapid quantization platform using the reflective deflection method and magnetic bead but also the electrochemical platform not the conventional ICA method.

2. 간암 진단 분야

The survival ratio of the liver cancer is 25% because it is diagnosed at the later stage as it does come with special symptoms and consequently the early diagnosis for the liver cancer is very important. The bio marker, Alphafetoprotein (AFP) which is widely use in the diagnosis of the liver cancer is known as improper to the early diagnosis on the liver cancer as its sensitivity to the liver cancer is 50-60% and the specificity is 40-50%. The recently spotlighted liver cancer marker, DCP (Des-gamma- carboxy-prothrombin) is gradually used in the diagnosis as it has high diagnosis specificity with 81% of sensitivity and 98% of the specificity in case of changing from liver cirrhosis to the liver cancer, and there is a study result that the higher diagnosis specificity is shown when it is diagnosed by using AFP and DCP together.

The current DCP diagnostic agents are mostly Japanese products and its market has been expanding to mainly to the large hospitals in Korea. Therefore, we expedite to develop DCP diagnostic agent which is used only and jointly used diagnostic agent with AFP.

3. 4세대 HIV 진단

The diagnosis on the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which is the reason of occurrence for AIDS is made by detecting the antibody against the virus generally.

The products for diagnosing the AIDS are mainly the 3rd generation HIV diagnostic agent which diagnoses by classifying the antibody of HIV type 1 and type 2, but it is disadvantage of no diagnosing the early infection of HIV>

The antibody diagnosing method is necessary to detect the antibody of virus not the antigen to diagnose the early infection of HIV. We make an effort to develop the 4th generation HIV diagnosing product with HIV antigen diagnosing method.
